Ever tried to pen a story, play or poem and found it too difficult? It needn’t be if you can push aside your ego and go to the place of least resistance – your intuition. In this unique writing workshop, created especially for the Intuitive Room, you will be given creative writing tools that will fire up your fingers and make that ink flow. Under guidance you will create some pieces and get the techniques that erase any writer’s block. You will be surprised just how easy it is to find your creative spark, but more than this – there will also be an opportunity to do some Inner Work. And in the hidden world of active imagination and dream exploration, you may just begin to appreciate the true worth of your own gifts as a writer.
ABOUT AMANDA HICKEY
Amanda Hickey has worked with words all her adult life across many mediums – documentaries, journalism, blogging, short films and creative writing. She is also a teacher and gives Storytelling workshops to Not-for-Profits. Her first documentary (Writer & Director) on heart surgeon, Victor Chang, won an award for SBS TV. Her latest documentary (Producer, second unit Director) – We Are Many - was long listed for an Academy Award & is currently available on I-Tunes. She writes for her own blog, the literary journal Verity La and is currently finishing a book on a WW2 Australian soldier who fought at Tobruk that will be published later this year.
