Welcome to yoga.

This course is designed to make every new yogi feel comfortable with approaching the practice of yoga. It’s step-by-step guidance in Ashtanga yoga and each week we build incrementally reinforcing the foundations of the practice. This is a beautiful system to support and strengthen who you are. We take time in each class to explain the details of the poses and how to improve the quality of your breath.

You'll learn fundamental concepts and practices such as bandhas and ujjayi pranayama, then begin building surya namaskar A and B and a sequence of standing poses. We thoroughly break down each posture to prepare you for the flow sequences to come. Each class will include finishing poses.

WHO SHOULD DO THIS COURSE?
This course is suited to anyone wanting to learn the basics either for the first time or after a long time away from the practice.

All are welcome. Any age. If you can breathe, you qualify. It’s time to feel good, all the time.

All poses can be modified with consideration to any injuries or restrictions.
