The 50 hrs of Himalayan Yin Yoga Immersion as offered by Taraji is the combination of the authentic, unbroken lineage of the Himalayan Yoga traditions with Yin Yoga and The Tao.
Himalayan Yoga incorporate three streams of learning: Yoga, Vedanta and Tantra. These three streams are like fingers of a hand; they work together perfectly. Yin Yoga combines Hatha Yoga and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Traditional Chinese medicine can be understood as a Taoist art form. In this immersion Taraji combines both Yin Yoga fundamentals + Traditional Chinese Medicine.
WHO SHOULD DO THIS COURSE? This course is suitable to anyone wanting to deepen their experience with yoga either as a teacher or for self development. Himalayan Yin Yoga is deeply rooted in healing and therefore welcoming of anyone seeking to improve their health and wellbeing.
Through YOGA children learn positive self-esteem, empowerment, adventure, flexiblity, strength, healing and deep relaxation. Children are guided through the yoga movements with the focus being fun, safe and dynamic. Meditation is taught through visualisations and accompanied by the playing of Tibetan bowls that resonate at a frequency to assist in deepening relaxation. Kids really do love yoga. Suitable for ages from 7 - 12 years old.

BUILD STRENGTH BOTH PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY. This is a beautiful dance between breath and movement that invigorates your whole being. In Ashtanga Yoga set series of postures (asanas) are woven together using flowing movements to create one sequence. Each connecting move is synchronised with the breath (ujjayi pranayama). Ashtanga yoga is a challenging physical practice, increasing strength, flexibility, endurance, co- ordination and stamina. The Ashtanga Yoga Vinyasa system (breathing with movement) are sequences of postures that vary in difficulty and benefit. As there is a set sequence each pose is mastered before moving forward to the next pose. The flow between each posture is an integral part of the practice. For each movement there is one breath (ujjayi paranyama).
